Here are the typical steps in our interior
design process:

Pure Dwelling Presentation Construction Documents
Gather Information & Preferences
  • We learn about your needs and what your style preferences are and help you establish your priorities and goals.
  • We develop a design vision for the interiors, including how they will be used.
  • We create an estimated budget and time line for completion.
  • From this information, we put together a Letter of Agreement, outlining scope, budget, and responsibilities.
Create Concept Designs
  • We research and study all elements, such as existing dimensions, any architectural plan documents and relevant building codes.
  • We present our initial recommendations to you for all aspects of the space, including space plan, architectural woodwork, cabinets, millwork, lighting, plumbing fixtures, color and finish materials, furnishings, fabrics, paint, etc.
  • You provide feedback to further refine design.
Design Development
  • We consider your feedback and make changes to finalize the design concept.
  • We develop the appropriate detailed drawings, 3-D renderings, layouts and furniture selections, as well as the final budget for your approval.
Implementation of Approved Design
  • We create a specification book with all interior items selected for construction.
  • We finalize construction drawings.
  • Begin the purchasing and procurement of furnishings and other interior designer specified items such as lighting, surface finishes, and cabinets, etc.
  • We monitor the interior construction process and keep you updated through regular meetings by providing construction administration and project management services.
Furniture Delivery, Installation and Move-in
  • We schedule the white glove furniture delivery and installation for accessories, artwork and window treatments.  Someone from our company is present at the time of furniture delivery and installation of artwork, accessories and window treatments to ensure design details are completed.
